This work is inspired by the author of various works of literature and cinema, for example, James Cameron's film Avatar. The artist visualized the image of a fantastic world with giant mushrooms that humanity uses to build settlements or cities, following the example of the same "Avatar".
The painter chooses the night time of the day, so the viewer is immersed in a sense of peace and dreaming.
The composition revolves around a phenomenally huge mushroom, which serves as a shelter for a human city, located under a spreading hat, the mushroom is so large that the viewer is hinted about the city by night illumination, we cannot see the details of the buildings, only the light.
The distant plan shows us that mushrooms are cities in this world, which can be seen by the glow under the distant mushroom.
The work is done in a cold scale, in dark shades of blue, which is actually characteristic of the night. Such paintings are well suited for decorating recreation rooms or bedrooms.

Dmitry Pashkov is a contemporary Crimean artist based in Yalta. He illustrates the surrounding world and its atmosphere through landscapes, images, both fantasy and real. The landscapes most often depict Yalta, the sea, mountains, views of the Crimea, authentic Crimean streets and architecture.

Dmitry Pashkov was born in 1986 in Armyansk. In 2009 he graduated from the Crimean University for the Humanities with a degree in fine arts.
Since 2015, she has been working as a teacher of oil painting at the "A-la-Prima Studio for adults and children" (Yalta).
