D. Michael Adams creates figurative sculptures (bronze and terra cotta) and oil paintings (nature, abstracts, figuratives). Michael trained under a Master Sculptor in Paris from 1992-96, before moving back to America where he began to cast in bronze. He won several sculpture awards, invitational shows, gallery positions and monument commissions in Colorado from 1999-2005. In 2005, he moved with his family to an ocean-front home in the Bahamas, creating both sculptures and paintings in this idyllic setting. These years inspired him to found Ocean Assets Group to finance marine conservation worldwide, which is reflected in his abstract ocean paintings - with donations from his art sales to ocean causes. In 2013, Michael and his family moved to the Swiss Alps where his art studio and creations have become a feature of interest to guests of Bellevie BnB. He is also a musician, composing and performing in local venues.
