Born in 1960, Dimitris Kritsotakis lives and works in Greece as a drawing and collage artist. He uses various mediums such as ballpoint pen on paper, collage on MDF board, marker on paper, pencil on paper, graphite on paper and story on paper. His style oscillates between surrealism, abstraction and geometric abstraction.

Dimitris studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where he obtained a master's degree in painting in 2018, after training in graphic design at the Vakalo School of Arts from 1993 to 1996. In addition to his skills in visual arts, he is also a self-taught graphic designer, illustrator and musician, living and working in Athens, Greece.

He uses a variety of media to create images, songs, short films, combining drawing, collage, video, sounds, words, speech and "performance". These works allow him to narrate passages from his life and that of others. His work has been included in exhibitions in Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki), Cyprus (Limassol), Austria (Vienna) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam).

His unique artistic approach, incorporating surreal and abstract elements, allows him to create captivating works that explore the depths of the imagination and the complexities of the human experience. His compositions, often characterized by geometric shapes and bold abstractions, reveal a deep reflection on the nature of perception and reality.
