Sonate Forestiere. Painting by Dimitri Sinyavsky

Born in Rostov on the Don on December 24, 1971, from a family of design engineers in the manufacture of furniture, Dimitri, very early, evolves in the field of design and graphic technique, counting no less than three artists painter in his immediate family.

Graduated from a scientific baccalaureate, he specialized from 1984 to 1989 in the study of computer programming languages and joined the advertising agency "CONSTANTA" in Rostov, as a photographer.

With his new knowledge, he joined the quarterly publication "CHANCE" in 1993 as a photojournalist, and then became part of its editorial staff.

In order to perfect his technique, he continued his studies by studying video art creation at the "SOROS" institute in Moscow during 1994, which led him to become the assistant of Kirill SEREBRENNIKOV, director on the TV channel "Don-TR".

His inquisitive nature prompted him to join the “Oversun” channel as part of a live program from Kirill SCHIOLKOV “On three”.

It is from 1997, that Dimitri will touch closely to the world of the spectacle, while trying at first with the art of the painting on body in the theater “Body Apt” for the director Kirill GANIN, as well as on the show "Lady of the faire" by Oleg GUSAEV.

He will collaborate with Andrey BARTENEV since 1999, working on the design on papier mâché.
Not giving up his passion for video art, he created, at the request of the Alexandre SCRIABINE music festival, a video-performance, broadcast at the “DOM” art center during a ballet on the music by Alexandre NEMTIN.

During this period, he intensified his multidisciplinary creations, but continued his quest for the art of photography with Irina LAVRINA, recognized for her theatrical images.

It was in 2000 that he belonged to the team of the “SODRUGESTVO AKTEROV TAGANKI” theater, taking charge of the sets and dummy props as the workshop manager.

Sure of the cultural impact that the web would have on artistic life, Dimitri embarked on a web designer training at the “BAUMAN” institute in Moscow.

Eager to navigate the web, he became a web designer in an advertising agency "ART-MASTER" before joining the direct marketing department of the company "PORTALIA" until 2003.

It was during a stay in Paris that Dimitri fell under the spell of the city of lights,
He then decides what would be his adopted city.

It was in 2005 that he met the famous Russian painter Sergei TOUTOUNOV, for whom he directed the website.
From this meeting will be born, for Dimitri, a revelation, that of the pleasure of painting.

Today, he shares his time, combining the creation and organization of exhibitions.

Already present in several Parisian and Brussels galleries, he takes part in numerous exhibitions, and exhibits his style halfway between the tradition of the Russian school and Impressionism.
