Desag is a contemporary French artist whose work explores the dynamic interplay between color and form. His art reflects a profound interest in the power relationships that emerge from these interactions, striving to capture their alchemical essence on canvas. Central to Desag's artistic philosophy is the idea that invisible flows and currents traverse our universe. Desag classifies his creations into two distinct opuses: Earthly, which draws inspiration from the ground, and Aerial, influenced by the sky. Desag predominantly works with acrylics but occasionally incorporates oil paints and pigments. His preferred surfaces include square-format canvases ranging from 20x20 cm to 120x120 cm, as well as wooden panels and paper.
