Born in 1959, Murielle Derrey is often described as an urban painter. Stuck to a certain reality; the grey streets of the large metropolises are returned with realism, like moments of life stopped by the fabric. You nearly can hear the noise of the life which proceeds around these crossroads, with these angles of streets, on these quays. Afetr severall years on oil and aquarelle, she prefered today work on acrylic , technique which it considers direct, fast painter , she is influenced by the American great painters of the XXth century, she find her inspiration in Warhol, Lichenstein or another Hooper. Today, many fabrics of M. Derrey are in the particular collections of enlightened amateurs.
