L'arrière-plan de la toile, un bleu profond aux nuances vibrantes et texturées, évoque un ciel nocturne orageux ou les profondeurs d'un océan mystique, parsemé d'accents dorés scintillants rappelant des constellations ou des engrenages célestes. Au centre de la composition, un texte en lettres dorées ajoute une dimension narrative et énigmatique.
L'œuvre est structurée autour de deux boîtes-dioramas noires, agissant comme des fenêtres sur des mondes intérieurs :
* Le diorama supérieur révèle un intérieur de cabinet victorien ou alchimique. On y découvre un bureau ancien chargé d'objets évocateurs : des verres, des assiettes en argent, une fiole, une lampe à pétrole et une petite horloge. Une chauve-souris en métal doré plane au-dessus de la scène, tandis que des crânes miniatures et une amulette suspendue ajoutent une touche de macabre et de mystère. Un couperet de boucher et une chaîne noire s'échappant de cette scène suggèrent une connexion sombre ou un secret dissimulé.
* Le diorama inférieur présente une composition plus onirique et fantastique. Au centre, un miroir baroque doré reflète peut-être l'âme de ce cabinet. Autour de lui, des éléments hétéroclites se mêlent harmoniquement : des roses rouges miniatures symbolisant la passion ou le danger, un balais de sorcière évoquant la magie, une cage d'oiseaux vides suggérant la liberté perdue ou à retrouver, et une profusion de cristaux d'améthyste, connus pour leurs propriétés spirituelles. Un corbeau, trône au-dessus de la scène, tandis que d'autres crânes et ossements renforcent l'atmosphère gothique.
Chaque élément de ce "Cabinet de Curiosités" est soigneusement choisi et placé, invitant le spectateur à décrypter ses propres récits et significations. L'œuvre est une célébration du bizarre, du beau et du caché, un hommage aux collectionneurs d'objets rares et aux esprits aventureux. Elle captivera les amateurs d'art fantastique, de surréalisme et d'esthétique gothique, et apportera une touche d'originalité et de profondeur à tout intérieur.
As a self-taught artist, I turned to mixed media and collage with the idea of creating a different universe each time, where everything lies in the small details, the texture, the right elements, or the right photo.
The goal is to make the public want to get closer to observe and discover something new each time that had not been noticed before.
Everything starts with a general idea, and then begins a long and patient research process to find the right photo, the right elements to express and represent the character, and finally come the colors carefully chosen according to the theme represented.
