Carlos Gamez de Francisco, born in 1987 in Holguín, Cuba, is a contemporary artist based in Fort Myers, Florida. Throughout his career, he has garnered numerous accolades, including the Fine Art Photographer of the Year at the Moscow International Photo Awards and Honorable Mentions at both the International Color Awards and the Tokyo International Photo Awards. His achievements also include the Museum Guild Purchase Award from the Evansville Museum, the SAIC Distinguished Scholarship at The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Key to the City of Louisville awarded by Mayor Greg Fischer.
