Biografie
Maria Meltsaeva ist eine zeitgenössische russische Malerin. Meltsaeva lässt sich ständig von Obst und Gemüse inspirieren. Ihr bevorzugtes Motiv zum Malen sind Stillleben, und sie verwendet hauptsächlich Ölmaltechniken.
Maria Meltsaeva wurde 1983 in Russland geboren, wo sie ihren Abschluss an der Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry machte.

“Girl with peaches” pays tribute to her predecessor, who has become not only a symbol of the famous gallery, but of all Russian art. Maria Meltsaeva uses the same set of elements as Serov, the same color scheme, but avoids the banal copying of a original work "Girl with peaches".
