I am a representational painter and I love creating vibrant oil and gouache paintings of everyday subjects. I get inspired by everything around me and take great pleasure in transforming the mundane into something extraordinary!
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember and painting seriously for over two decades now. After years of training to be an oil painter, I also ventured into Gouache a few years ago and love the medium. I now prefer oils for my larger work and gouache during all my travels and for smaller work.
My focus has been the contemporary still life for a few years now. I do the occasional landscape or figure but I am drawn back to the beautiful art of the still life. I paint from life in my studio or outdoors in Germany.
