Pierre Boillon ist Fotograf und seit über 40 Jahren in den Bereichen Mode, Werbung und Illustration tätig.
Nachdem er mehrere Jahre zum Thema „Ähnlichkeiten“ in der Natur gearbeitet und ein Buch zu diesem Thema veröffentlicht hatte, versuchte er, die Freuden zu variieren, indem er sich einem anderen symbolischen Thema zuwandte: Wasser. Er näherte sich ihm auf zwei Arten: zuerst in Schwarzweiß, mit Makrofotos von kleinsten Details, dann in Farbe, mit der Entwicklung der im Wasser diffundierenden Farbstoffe. Derzeit arbeitet er an Schwarzlicht-Fluoreszenzfotografien.
Pierre Boillon ist ein in Toulouse (Frankreich) lebender Künstler. Er verbrachte den Großteil seiner Arbeit im Atelier und schuf Bilder auf die gleiche handwerkliche Weise wie ein Schreiner oder Schmied. Er arbeitete viele Jahre mit der Agentur Getty zusammen. Er konzentriert sich jetzt auf Autorenfotografie durch Ausstellungen und den Verkauf von signierten und nummerierten Kunstdrucken in limitierter Auflage.
