Er liebt Reisefotografie und hatte die Gelegenheit, viele Orte zu besuchen. Er wurde von vielen bekannten Fotografen beeinflusst, darunter Elliott Erwitt, Mary Ellen Mark und andere, und er war immer wie ein Jäger für die "richtigen" Motive, die er finden wollte! In den letzten Jahren hat er seinen Fokus von der Reportage und Porträtfotografie auf die Landschafts- und Architekturfotografie verlagert.
Stefan Neubauer wurde 1971 in Frankfurt geboren. (Deutschland). Er hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, einen Master-Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, ein Volontariat bei AP in Frankfurt und arbeitete Anfang der 1990er Jahre als freier Mitarbeiter/Fotoassistent für einen Innen- und Architekturfotografen in New York City. Seine Arbeiten sind in vielen Privatsammlungen zu finden.
