Chantal MARTIN, autodidaktische Künstlerin. Als Kind war das Zeichnen seine große Leidenschaft. Als Teenager begann sie zu malen, als ihr Vater ihr eine Schachtel Ölfarben schenkte.
Nach einer Pause von 25 Jahren griff sie 2014 wieder zu den Bürsten, als die Kinder erwachsen wurden und das Familiennest verließen. Seitdem ist die Lust am Malen offensichtlich immer vorhanden....
Am Anfang ist ihr Stil eher figurativ, dann experimentiert sie nach und nach mit abstrakten Hintergründen und fügt Materialien hinzu: Pigmente , Sandmörtel, Collagen, auf der Suche nach neuen Effekten. Die Farben wurden leuchtender, die Motive fröhlicher und heller.
Erste Ausstellung und erster Verkauf im Jahr 2014, dann zahlreiche Gemeinschafts- und Einzelausstellungen in GARD und LOZERE.
