Caroline VALNET est une artiste-peintre autodidacte qui échappe aux institutions et aux circuits classiques. Écoutant sa seule volonté de retranscrire son imaginaire sur toile elle invoque ses sens et débute en 2016 une série de peintures au couteau qui bouscule et fascine. Elle participe rapidement à différents évènements à Besançon mais également à Barcelone en 2019 permettant aux amateurs d’art contemporain et aux professionnels de s’immerger dans l’univers de l’artiste. Chaque toile est le fruit d’une lutte, d’une tension entre couleurs, textures et équilibre. Ainsi, de par le choix des thèmes et aussi le jeu des couleurs et des empattements, ses toiles dégagent une puissance émotionnelle intense et explosive qui ne peut laisser indifférent.
