This acrylic painting on canvas represents the beach of La Tamarissière in Vias in Hérault. This beach, located near Cap d'Agde and the mouth of the Hérault river, has remained away from urbanization. What interested me in this painting was to render the atmosphere and the particular light that is associated with the Tramontane, this north wind that sweeps the region. A bit like the Mistral, this often violent wind "cleans" the sky and disperses the clouds. The contrasts are strong and the air clear.
In the foreground, the ganivelles and the marram grass undulate to the rhythm of the dunes.

This beach, located near Cap d'Agde and the descent of the Hérault River, has remained part of urbanization. When I'm interested in this painting, it represents the atmosphere and the particular light associated with the Tramontana, which comes from the north of the region. A little like the Mistral, it came to a very violent "clear" sky and scattered the clouds. The contrasts are clear and clear.
First of all, the sandstones and the marram trees undulate with the rhythm of the dunes.

Je me présente rapidement : j'ai 46 ans. J'habite le sud de la France près de Pézenas dans l'Hérault.
Passionné par la mer, la voile et la nature, mes travaux en peinture se concentrent actuellement sur le thème des vagues, des déferlantes et plus généralement des paysages marins à l'acrylique ou à l'huile.
Ces sujets où la lumière et l'eau interagissent à travers une multitudes de reflets, de couleurs, d'éclats et de textures sont pour moi une source d'inspiration.

Let me introduce myself: I am 46 years old. I live in the south of France near Pézenas in the Hérault.
Freelance photographer for 16 years, I have worked for the press (Géo, L'Express, ...) of large companies (construction, real estate, etc.) and public bodies (Occitan region, tourist office, etc. ..)
Passionate about the sea, sailing and nature, my work in painting currently focuses on the theme of waves, breaking waves and more generally seascapes in acrylic or oil.
These subjects where light and water interact through a multitude of reflections, colors, sparkles and textures are for me a source of inspiration and joy.
