Depuis petite, j’ai toujours été fascinée par la mer. Même dans mes rêves, des plus doux aux plus cauchemardesques, elle est toujours présente. Elle me fascine de la même manière qu’elle me terrifie. Je puise donc mon inspiration en elle, et bien évidemment de ma tendre Bretagne, et plus particulièrement mon cocon, la presqu’île de Crozon, que j’affectionne particulièrement et que j’aime garder auprès de moi, de quelque manière qu’elle soit.
Je pense que peindre m’aide à me réconcilier avec moi-même, après des années de souffrances internes, je pense que peindre l’océan c’est me rejeter à l’eau, me rejeter dans la vie, faire naître et lâcher toutes mes émotions gardées et enfouient en moi depuis bien trop longtemps. L’art s’est s’exprimer, et prendre l’océan comme muse à un grand sens pour moi, la liberté, les émotions, les sensations.
