Danuta Elżbieta Czyżyk, talented artist, lives and works in Poland. For many years she has devoted herself to plastic art, creating works in various painting and artistic fabric techniques. She favors the use of natural materials such as linen, sisal, wool and wicker, often integrating female figures into her openwork creations. His pictorial works explore spatial structures, offering a deep reflection on the interaction between form and space.
Danuta Czyżyk has exhibited her works in numerous individual and group exhibitions, both in Poland and internationally. His last solo exhibition in 2023 was held at the El Greco Museum in Crete, highlighting his artistic fabric works. In 2022, she presented her creations at the Miejska Gallery of the Środa Wielkopolska Earth Museum in the Koszuty Manor. Other notable exhibitions include her presentations in 2019 at Globis Poznań and PIXEL in Poznań, where she exhibited tapestries and paintings under the theme "Przechodzenie granic" (Crossing Borders). In 2017 and 2018 she exhibited her abstract paintings at the Plaza shopping center in Poznań.
Among her participations in group exhibitions, Danuta Czyżyk took part in the exhibition “MAŁA 2 forma” in November 2022 at the Kafka café in Warsaw. In the same year, she took part in an exhibition accompanying the XIV Poznań Old Jazz Festival in Browar in Poznań. In 2021, she contributed to the III International Contemporary Art Magazine KIODYGRESY at the Magic House Oria in Gdańsk and to the magazine “3×50” in Krakow. She was also present at the 8th Art Biennale “85 Kontynuacja” in Poznań in 2018 and at the International Biennale of Unique Painting and Fabric in Gdynia in 2011.
