STORY BEHIND ARTWORK:
This artwork was created one stormy evening. Living my whole life by the sea, it has always given me some comfort and peace in the gray days. So that night the sea raged in the storm, and the emotions raged inside me. It’s fascinating, actually, how much emotions and feelings are similar to the sea. Both can be wild and deep or calm and clear. Coping with all my private problems, I watched the sea. I realized that I would find strength again, just like the sea during a storm, but also peace after it. I decided to "spill" all my emotions on the canvas, while the sea hit the waterfront with strong waves, thus creating a beautiful harmony.

Hi, welcome to my page. My name is Danijela (27) and I am artist from Zadar, Croatia. I finished School of fine arts and design. I have been drawing, painting, creating since I was a child, and I have always seen myself in the role of an artist. Not the best artist in the world, but good enough to get messages from my work to reach people. Although there is darkness in name, I want to bring a little color to everyday life with my artworks. Everything I do is handmade with a lot of love and attention.
The inspiration for this creative order and clutter are exclusively feelings, each color, movement and line tells its own story ... why? Because I want to tell other people's stories, but also my own, because at the end of the day we are all just people. As an artist, I consider it my personal mission to draw people's attention to the problems we face every day as individuals but also as a society. Because we need to do better.
