Daniel Cenachi was born in Brazil in 1994. He understands that the only way to express his monsters, enigmas, emotions and latent thoughts was through Art. That's how his journey began: seeking to express with colors, textures and shapes what the word couldn't handle. As a painter he believes that paints and brushes act as ventrilocus of the true instrument of his art: Silence. His performance is established in traditional, classical art. His great personal and professional project is to be a tragic artist, in the Nietzschean sense of the word tragic, that is, in the sense of integrating man's ambivalences. In his work as a whole, he seeks in classical, mythological and folkloric ways to develop his symbols about the power of creative life as a tragic life, that is, as a life that has no way out, that has no salvation. The tragic artist, therefore, is the one who embraces his aesthetic calling, even though he knows that his journey will always lead him to a controversial, painful and challenging destination, rather than being content with common sense that will lead him to oblivion. The tragic artist knows that he must face Medusa, even though he is looking indirectly at her.Cenachi is currently involved in personal and artistic projects that deal with an internal folklore ideal. This folklore would be a symbolic and atmospheric representation of the human emotions that hide behind the masks we create for ourselves. We learn to keep monsters in the closet, under the bed, and relocate them in the unconscious when we grow up. But they are there, eyes open and glazed, waiting for the mere sign of the mind's weakness to emerge.
