His foray into art began in 1972 with photography, recording street demonstrations against the Vietnam War with his Nikon F, an experience that deeply marked his creative vision. For several years, he devoted himself to street photography, developing a unique and sensitive approach to urban reality. Gómez subsequently explored oil painting, a medium he cultivated for several years before finding its ultimate expression in sculpture, to which he currently dedicates himself full-time. His sculptural work addresses themes such as the elegance of the female figure, the complexities of love and relationships, and the mysteries of extraterrestrial life.
