Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

A la base, dans sa composition aux contours nets et graphiques, ma créature était assise sur une planche blanche, comme si elle allait tomber ou sauter dans le vide existentiel.
Après Rectangular sun, je trouvais le résultat trop fataliste et je lui ai créé une dynamique qui le retiendrai en place.
Pour l’ancrer j’ai déconstruit l’arrière du personnage en une masse couleur moutarde. Une autre dynamique ascensionnelle en ondulations bleues lui donne une verticalité en mouvement.
La spirale bleue me faisait penser au serpent dans l’histoire de la chute du jardin d’Eden juste avant qu’il essaie de séduire Eve avec la pomme, le fruit défendu de l’arbre de la connaissance.
Ainsi selon cette histoire, en quittant l’idéal paradisiaque, naissait la dynamique de la conscience, l’aptitude d’interpréter la réalité, de juger et de choisir entre le bien et le mal en toute subjectivité humaine, source de négociations et de conflits.
Le figuration a évolué d’une paralysie existentielle vers une dynamique tumultueuse du désarroi humain.
