C'est le seul musicien qui a joué du saxo d'aussi haut et avec une telle vue !
Thomas est sur un dispositif et se repose après l'effort fourni , il en profite pour prendre une photo depuis son belvédère ! Cette structure donne plus d'assise au tableau. Dans son livre magnifique des photos où les pieds sont dans le vide sans structure porteuse sont aussi impressionnantes. Son commentaire : une terrasse dans le cosmos
Ici j'ai utilisé deux de ses photos (la terrasse dans le cosmos et Paradisiaque les Bahamas)

Autodidacte, la passion m'a pris subitement ...
L'envie de peindre quelques-unes de mes photos en essayant d'être le plus proche de la réalité, des couleurs. Je me suis donné un défi.
D"abord le selfie au chapeau au musée Paul Valery (Sète) cet été, à côté d'une sculpture de Martial Raysse, autoportrait plongé dans l'actualité (référence à Gaza et sa destruction diabolique). Ensuite ces cyprès jumeaux de Saint Aunès ( réf. film "sans toit ni loi"). Les indiens Wayampi (photo Couleur argentique avec le Tessar Zeiss Ikon souvenir de mon père, en Guyane) etc... Le portrait de mon père plus grand que nature. Pourquoi ? Il est mort en 1976 et je voulais le faire revivre quelques temps, comme les portraits du XVè siécle (Je suis resté scotché, il y a une trentaine d'années, devant celui de Leonardo di V. "Jeune Christ". Musée Lazaro Galdiano).
La vue de Luang Prabang depuis le mont Phou Si, tellement bon souvenir de là bas !
Le réchauffement climatique ? : la banquise et les ours,
l'Inde : un homme seul dans un temple, un enfant campé devant un éléphant,
le désert de Namibie, une épave.
Au fil des œuvres je m'évade aussi dans le non-conceptuel /imaginaire (naissance de la femme et de l'homme, l'arc du Paradis). Avec la technique de notre époque (QR code pour la toile Tananarive, Edmond et entendre sa voix), utilisation d'autres moyens, ancré dans notre époque : des ombres chinoises qui se font un selfie devant le torii de Miyajima.

Novembre 2023. ma première œuvre acrylique
La peinture à l'huile : nouveau pour moi, après 7 mois d'acrylique ! La fluidité du geste, la maîtrise de la brillance et de la texture...
23 juin 2024 : 1è œuvre à l'huile : arc du paradis avec un haïku original au dos.
Je me familiarise aussi avec la technique de l'aquarelle, difficile à acquérir.
