L'opéra de Monte-Carlo ou salle Garnier est une salle de spectacle attenante au casino de Monte-Carlo dans le quartier Monte-Carlo à Monaco. Le nouveau casino et l'opéra ont été conçus par l'architecte Charles Garnier sous l'impulsion de Marie Blanc (veuve de François Blanc) et furent inaugurés le 25 janvier 1879 par un spectacle de Sarah Bernhardt.
Cette peinture contemporaine illustre le talent de l'architecte François Garnier qui construisit l'Opéra de Paris.
Cette toile témoigne de la qualité des illuminations de la principauté de Monaco en décembre 2011.
Bien qu'elle soit peinte à l'acrylique,la technique du glacis en de multiples couches utilisée par l'artiste ne permet pas de la différencier avec une peinture à l'huile.
