Glossy finish

I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Prague. All my life I have been designing as an author and at the same time I have been engaged in creative work. Unfortunately, I lived a large part of my life under Soviet-style communism, which I did not accept. As a result, a public presentation was almost impossible. Only after 1989 did I attend several exhibitions. My basic theme is perceptions from nature and their modification in an abstract form, inspired by Fauvism and Expressionism. Recently, I have been interested in the digital form of works. I work in the form of watercolor_digitalization (Photoshop)_printing on Hahnemuhle paper.
The work of an architect forced me to systematize, to work logically, to work with a large share of reason. In my youth, I experienced creative work spontaneously. Today, I approach the same work much more rationally. The Impressionists opened a window to the world of art for me in the sixties of the twentieth century, Fauvism was a great discovery for me, whose postulates I still live by today. Kandinsky's paintings left me in awe. The work of this timeless artist combined with the music of, for example, Maurice Ravel are treasures of the world. And that's just one example. But I'm a little worried about the state of today's visual arts, I think the spirit of this world hangs in a vacuum. Nothing seems to matter, nothing to hope for, nothing to believe in. Thanks to new technologies, new horizons are opening up for the art world, but it seems to me that form and idea rule over content, semantics are lost, images stop telling. I will be happy if someone refutes me.
