Plus-size woman face a lot in our society, from discrimination to segregation, some even encounter racial abuse and physical assault due to their body size. I want us to empathize with such individuals because we don’t know what they are going through.
In the first original painting, I used Palm oil, but I have decided to use oil pastels due to its colorful hue and color options. I wish to put such despised anatomy on the spotlight, as we celebrate the big, bold and beautiful woman.
