Cyril Bartolo est un sculpteur français né en 1973 à Carpentras, dans le Sud-Est de la France.
Il est issu, à la base, du monde de la soudure et du travail du métal.
Passionné par tous les arts et particulièrement par les arts contemporains, il est inspiré par les arts sacrés.
Il a une grande sensibilité pour l'ésotérisme et pour le chamanisme et voue une admiration pour les symboles de toutes origines.
La synergie de toutes ses passions donne naissance à des œuvres métalliques contemporaines sur lesquelles on retrouve de nombreux symboles.
Origine
Sa formation initiale n'est pas artistique mais plutôt technologique. Il l'a ensuite complétée par une formation commerciale et s'est donc, naturellement dirigé vers la vente de matériels techniques et particulièrement la vente de matériels pour le travail du métal.
Par son naturel curieux, il a beaucoup appris auprès des professionnels et notamment des sculpteurs qu'il affectionne particulièrement.
Son attirance pour l'art le pousse à visiter de nombreux musées, énormément d'expositions, de galeries et participer à un nombre important de vernissages.
Il a, pendant toutes ces années, le désir de se mettre à l'œuvre mais il manque le petit déclic.
Et ce déclic, il l'a eu en 2021. Poussé par sa compagne, ce désir sous-jacent de créer s'est révélé comme une évidence.
