Cristian López Rey was born in Hurlingham, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1984.
He's currently studying at IUNA (Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte), and he'll soon receive a Bachelor of Visual Arts. He had experimented with several techniques and different disciplines, but he had specialized in oil on canvas painting.
With his work he shows his very strong and personal point of view of the opression of the contemporary system.
López Rey is only 25 years old, so he doesn't have a vast experience in art exhibitions. He took part in collective expositions, even though he made individual exhibitions -the most important was in APPETITE art galery and Centro Cultural Borges.
