Corey S Ribotsky, a native of Detroit, was born in 1982 and currently resides in New York City. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NYU and has been featured in many significant galleries and museums. He has been the recipient of a number of awards, including two SITES traveling shows from the Smithsonian Institution.
Throughout his career, Corey S Ribotsky has been captivated by the picturesque scenery of the Midwest and the northern part of the United States, and this fascination is clearly evident in his artwork. His paintings accurately portray animals in their natural environment, and his particular fondness for birds is particularly evident, from the tranquillity they exude to the struggle for survival they face. By working en plein aire, he is able to preserve the moment and atmosphere of the landscape.
Corey S Ribotsky has had his own art space since 2008, exhibiting his creations in the US and other countries. He is now introducing a selection of plaster pieces carved by him which are inspired by the colors and topics he encounters daily.
