Biography
Fernando Carlo a.k.a Cope2 is contemporary American graffiti artist. He started painting in 1978, his urban style can be found in galleries and on walls around the world. He was very active in the 1980s - 1990s, he painted in all New York subway lines, which is how he earned his fame and is known to be New York's graffiti ambassador.
Cope2 is highly regarded in the world of graffiti artists, he still paints legally in the streets and collaborates with other artists such as Shepard Fairey, Retna, Kenny Scharf, etc.
Cope2 was born in 1968, in the South Bronx.
