Basketball Collages by Lydie Girard

I am a self-taught collage artist. I love this art of recycling, I like cutting, sticking, tearing, papers, newspapers, magazines and posters. Six years ago, collage imposed itself on me as a mode of expression that I first made on personalized boxes. The goal being to use them as gift wrapping for the people around me.
Then 3 years ago, I felt the need to express myself on a larger surface, so I transposed my collages onto canvases.
Then begins the time to stick, assemble, compose stories that are always personalized. Indeed, I work a lot on order. I am told the Theme, the colors, the character traits and interests that people want.
Above all, I love urban style, creating imaginary cities.
