Pierre ROBIN est né en 1975 à Dakar au Sénégal où ses parents se trouvaient alors en poste. Toujours à la suite de sa famille, il a connu une enfance de globe trotter et a notamment vécu en Indonésie et au Vénézuéla avant de revenir en France, à Lyon où il a suivi des études de médecine. Il est actuellement interne des hôpitaux. Doué de la double nationalité franco sénégalaise, il a choisi la nationalité française dès sa majorité.

Ses études scientifiques lui ont apporté la précision méticuleuse indispensable au type d’expression artistique qu’il choisi : le collage, alors que la médecine lui a donné une grande ouverture aux autres et le sens de l’écoute, de l’observation et de la communication.

Très tôt dans ses études, il s’est intéressé à l’art-thérapie, et c’est tout naturellement qu’il a mis cette méthode en pratique en concevant et réalisant lui-même des collages qui reflètent par leur originalité, leur sens des formes et des couleurs la diversité de sa formation à la fois rigoureuse et cosmopolite.
