Artist Coco Sicart was inspired by the final American election of November 6, 2024 to create this work entitled: "As close as possible to the stars to never give up your dreams and your fights", which is why Coco Sicart preferred to represent Kamala Harris to illustrate this characteristic title of the speech she gave on November 7, 2024 after her defeat in the presidential elections. Yes, as Kamala Harris hammered home following her failure against Donald Trump: "I will never give up the fight". Since August 22, 2024, when Kamala Harris was officially invested as the Democratic candidate for president, she has continued to fight to try to break this glass ceiling in order to become the first Asian-American woman President for the first time in American history. Let's not forget that she was a pioneer in the vice-presidency of the United States and in fact made American history. During this election campaign, Kamala proved to be very conquering, dignified, loyal, and above all very inspiring. But at 60, Kamala Harris is ultimately a warrior who will question herself deeply and find the right ways, we hope, to bounce back and be reborn on other equally bright paths in the future. Kamala Harris unfortunately only had a very short quarter to lead her campaign and rally the Democratic Party and donors behind her: which was really a very tight schedule for the Democrats against the well-oiled steamroller of the Republicans who have never stopped their fight since January 2020, when Donald Trump was not elected to the presidential election against Joe Biden. Donald Trump's Victory on November 6, 2024 is imbued with the taste of revenge that like a phoenix rises from its ashes. On November 6, 2024, the overwhelming result was imposed, Donald Trump was elected 47th President of the United States and surprised the whole world with his historic and memorable tour de force, thus the stainless warrior that is Donald Trump will return to the White House in January 2025. In view of this final American election, it is the history and the mirror reflection of our world that is displayed: Failures are part of our Lives and are necessary because they invite us to master our passions and to learn better about ourselves by being patient and persevering, and to become a fine strategist by projecting ourselves into action. The failures of our lives reflect death and rebirth and allow us to surpass ourselves and give the best of ourselves in projects and causes that are important to us to achieve. The defeats and failures of yesterday contain the Victories to come and allow us to appreciate the particular flavor of our Lives by making them progress in new wiser paths and more in line with our desires. By learning from the past, we become much more empathetic but also more combative. The failures of our lives allow us to become who we really are, to reveal ourselves to ourselves, by constantly reinventing ourselves. This wisdom of becoming contained in failure is stimulating because it allows us to bounce back and believe that everything is still possible, to believe in our dreams and never give up. Failures are a wonderful breeding ground for undertaking exceptional personal reconstruction. Since January 2020, when we observe the journey that Donald Trump has taken following his electoral defeat, we have indeed a blatant and notorious example of what a human being is capable of accomplishing when he has revenge to take on his destiny... It is certain that Donald Trump will do everything possible not to disappoint his voters and will ensure that he brings new momentum to his country to heal its wounds....In the USA, the coexistence of the democratic bloc and the republican bloc which refuses alliances creates a deadlock situation. The very nature of political parties is that they are machines for creating a surge of collective passion when elections are in full swing. Members of political parties seek above all to obtain as many votes as possible. The existence of the middle classes is the heart of democracy, and in society a gap has widened between losers and winners: the result is that the middle classes feel that their lives are becoming more and more difficult, that their purchasing power is decreasing, because of the rising cost of energy, and the sharp increase in supermarket shopping. All this has produced emotional exhaustion and the feeling of being mistreated. Since globalization, it is necessary to manage the articulation between the inside and the outside of each society. The link between globalization and immigration has changed in nature. Labor immigration is coupled with settlement immigration where migrants go to places where people live more comfortably than in their country of origin. This is where the perplexity of political powers lies: to respond to a form of social justice, States are proceeding to welcome more and more immigrants .... Life is openness, generosity, sacrifice. The common rules of a society express nothing other than the tendency of groups of humans to preserve themselves. The role of elections is to make each individual participate in a collective decision. Obviously, elections bring out a majority in the face of a disappointed and frustrated minority. Hence the inevitable conflicts of each democracy with the permanent questioning of what the majority decides. In all cases, the basic principle of the democratic constitution is Freedom. In the United States, Donald Trump was elected despite the invasion of the Capitol by his supporters in January 2020 (This would have been impossible in France) and after having suffered an assassination attempt on 2 occasions by madmen. Indeed, particularly on July 13, 2024, Donald Trump escaped death, shot in the ear during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the whole world witnessed this surreal and shocking scene where Donald Trump, very dignified, stood up and shouted: "Fight!" with his fist raised. (Don't give up the fight!) If we analyze the various and incredible events that have marked the course of Donald Trump's electoral campaign and in particular since this assassination attempt, we can easily understand that there was this rise in power of voters in his favor in the Republican camp and even on the part of undecided Americans. This bloody and unacceptable episode that occurred on July 13, 2024 against Donald Trump, gave rise to a new momentum by attributing to Donald Trump the consciousness of the hero and the Saint and this emotion felt by all Americans spread, and this enthusiasm of the Hero and the Saint was very contagious as if the Americans had been awakened by this call that came from Above. This emotion felt at that moment by all Americans to recognize a Hero in Donald Trump was a creative emotion that wove a deep unity and was most certainly an additional trigger for his massive Victory in this election of November 6, 2024 which opposed him to Kamala Harris. There is also a staging in which Donald Trump got involved on October 30, by being filmed aboard a garbage truck disguised as a garbage collector, following a blunder by Joe Biden who called Republican supporters trash before correcting himself. This scene, which was broadcast widely around the world from Wisconsin, seriously damaged Kamala Harris' campaign and Donald Trump by defending his supporters through these videos 5 days before the end of this election campaign, helped convince the last undecided voters to vote for him. This publicity stunt certainly worked in Donald Trump's favor in the final stretch of this intense election campaign. In conclusion, we can only wish the best to all Americans who are our allies at heart, so that these next 4 years are combined and rhyme with abundance, appeasement and Peace within their Country.
