Fabiola Estrada, born and based in Mexico City, was attracted to the arts from an early age, making drawings and taking the plastic arts workshop in her secondary education. Already in her youth, she chose Design and Visual Communication as a university career, changing to Visual Arts, where she experimented with engraving and oil painting. During these years she intervened in a series of pieces of daily use (but discontinued), with beads and made some works with acrylic, watercolor and Indian ink. Already in maturity, at 40 years old, she begins to have very deep personal changes, decides to study psychology and begins her spiritual development, which allows her to imagine and create what she calls: "Healing art". She takes up oil painting again by making her self-portrait and other paintings. Today, in addition to creating papier-mâché sculptures, she continues with painting.
