Claudete Leutz, born in 1950 in Santos, SP, Brazil, is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Brazil. Her training in art history began at the Oficina Paulista de Arte in 1987. Between 1988 and 1990, she deepened her knowledge in semiotics, history of philosophy and art, creativity and language under the supervision of the visual artist Lily Simon.
Claudete Leutz is distinguished by her works produced in ink on paper, mainly using the bico de pena technique. Her artistic work is marked by a contemporary and innovative approach, where she recycles and reuses various objects such as glass, wood and plastic pots, giving them new life and meaning.
