"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

CLAUDE-YVAN CONNE
BIOGRAPHIE
Diplômé des Arts et Métiers de Vevey en Suisse, et thérapeute ASCA en Suisse, Claude-Yvan Conne a décliné diverses facettes : d’un côté la décoration, l’architecture, ou encore l’architecture d’intérieur , et de l’autre l’écoute d’une patientèle en tant que thérapeute.
C’est depuis les années 80 que Claude-Yvan Conne développe une troisième facette, la peinture, toujours à la recherche du monde qui l’entoure. L’artiste a eu de nombreuses expositions dont à la Galerie Unip à Lausanne, à la Galerie Loeb à Berne où encore aux Nations Unies à Genève. Récemment, il a exposé à la Galerie Vis’Art à Lyon. Ses œuvres font partie de collections privées et publiques.
DÉMARCHE ARTISTIQUE
Contrairement à l’architecte, Claude-Yvan Conne construit peu ce qu’il peint. L’artiste s’empare d’un sujet et commence à travailler.
C’est pendant ce processus que le peintre et le support entrent en dialogue, à la recherche d’une concordance, jusqu’à une forme d’accord tacite. C’est là que l’artiste perd la maîtrise et que la toile commence son existence propre. Il travaille essentiellement en techniques mixtes, mélangeant ses propres ingrédients à la peinture acrylique. Il procède par succession de glacis et de composants personnels.
POST SCRIPTUM
Depuis toujours, j’ai conscience d’appartenir à un « ensemble ». Alors, je transpose sur la toile ma perception provisoire de la réalité, car l’on ne voit que ce que l’on connaît.
En ce sens, les peintures rupestres représentent les mémoires collectives et j’ai la sensation de partager quelque chose de notre patrimoine génétique. Quelque chose qui résonne au fond de chacun. J’aime travailler avec diverses matières et peintures.
Je recherche la continuité en trouvant dans mes compositions les éléments qui incarnent la mémoire collective. Cette présence est constante et je veux la révéler au travers de mes sujets. Un voyage passionnant au travers du temps. Ceci engendre parfois certaines expressions particulières à mes sujets, personnages, objets ou paysages.
