Claude Lépine, a contemporary Canadian artist, has been captivated by painting since his earliest childhood, but it was the encounter with the work of painter Riopelle that ignited his passion for the medium. Inspired by Riopelle's artistry, Lépine immersed himself in the world of oil and acrylic painting with fervent enthusiasm.

As a multidisciplinary and self-taught painter, Claude Lépine channels his emotions into his works, using mediums, spatulas, and brushes to express the depths of his soul. Whether it's joy, exaltation, pain, or sadness, Lépine's vibrant colors and dynamic interweavings on canvas serve as a testament to his emotional presence in the moment.

In recent years, Lépine has introduced a semi-figurative character into his dynamic pictorial explorations, affectionately dubbed "Madame." Inspired by his mother, a professional seamstress for whom each dress held a magical significance, Lépine created a series of canvases where Madame, adorned in colorful dresses, embarks on various adventures and experiences a range of emotions.

Claude Lépine's unique contemporary figurative paintings have earned him acclaim and recognition, with his works being featured in solo and group exhibitions across Canada. His living artworks are rich in symbolism, often incorporating imagery such as small eyes representing the third eye, symbolizing the "eye of the soul" guiding our actions for the betterment of our being. Lépine also delves into themes of life and death, exploring the delicate balance between the two.

As a member of prestigious art organizations such as the Mondial Art Academy (MAA), the Institutes of Figurative Arts of Quebec (IAF), and the Federation of Canadian Artists, Claude Lépine's influence extends beyond his artistic creations. He serves on the board of directors for various art symposiums and his works have garnered international acclaim, with collections now found in Japan, Europe, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and his native Canada.
