I have been living and painting in France since 2006. I still retain my penchant for joie de vie and double entendre, and those other English quirks. I've enjoyed painting all my life, but now I'm serious!  I paint mostly in oils, generally brightly coloured in a medium size to small format. Subjects vary from abstract, through whimsical and enigmatic to classic landscape. Styles also vary considerably. People, animals, trees and urban scenes feature in many of my works. Each painting is entirely original influenced by my environment and by the masters and the classics. My aim is to produce pleasing and thought-provoking paintings, that can be lived with. New works regularly added, new ideas willingly considered, special requests entertained. Just contact me.
