Dans cette composition, les teintes profondes du bleu évoquent l’immensité de l’océan Indien, ce vaste miroir mouvant qui borde les rivages sri-lankais. Les vagues caressent inlassablement le sable chaud, sculptant la côte en un dialogue perpétuel entre l’eau et la terre. Par endroits, le turquoise éclatant rappelle la clarté des lagons et la transparence des criques secrètes où la lumière se réfracte en mille éclats scintillants.
Le vert, lui, s’infiltre en touches vibrantes, hommage aux collines tapissées de plantations de thé, aux jungles profondes bruissantes de vie et aux rizières ondulant sous la brise.
