Ses peintures sont réalisées essentiellement a l'huile sur toile , depuis peu elle inclus de la feuille d' or dans ses toiles. Chaque tableau est unique et exclusif. Elle realise également des commandes precises ( créations ou copies ) et livre ses tableaux dans le monde entier. Il se degage de ses tableaux une atmosphere onirique. Christiane Malet affectionne particulierement la representation architecturale et les refflets sur l'eau.
