Fall of Icarus (2007) Digital Arts by Chrisbenn

Christopher Bennett was born in Lancashire, North England on 15th July 1965.

Studied at the Art and Design collage in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, thereafter at the Cumbria Collage of Art and Design where he studied all aspects of art and design from photography, calligraphy with a strong emphasis on graphic design. At the same time was experimenting with photography and airbrush art techniques.

He moved to Germany and worked for 6 years in Düsseldorf in a large advertising agency as part of the creative team.

In 2000 he went back to Britain, and worked in several design agencies as Art/Creative Director, then as a freelance designer for the final year before returning to Germany.

During his career he became very interested in computers and the possibilities they presented as a new tool for the designer/artist, fortunately his career in graphic design and advertising has allowed him to follow the development of this tool to the present day and with the development of digital cameras and peripherals his concepts and ideas have been made possible through high quality photo manipulation and montage.

Chris Bennett lives in Isny in Allgau, Germany with his wife and 3 year old son.
