It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Comme d’autres gens ordinaires, moi aussi j’ai beaucoup de très vieux mémoires comme des souvenirs d’une époque révolue qui comme des fantômes demeurent enfouies au plus profond de mon esprit inconscient. Des souvenirs que je pensais de ne plus exister et maintenant qui sont allés aussi loin dans l’arrière-plan qu’ils avaient été presque oubliés par mes sentiments subconscients, mais à certains moments soudainement comme un tsunami inattendu ils surgissaient dans mes pensées même quand je ne faisais aucun effort pour essayer de les obliger à sortir de leurs profondeurs cachées.
Mais quels que soient mes sentiments, ils seront toujours là, comme de fidèles disciples. Certains à chérir près de mon cœur alors qu'il y en aura d'autres que j'aimerais tant oublier d'oublier.
La méthode que j’utilisais pour reproduire un tel document éphémère c’est par l’une de mes méthodes préférées et qui est d’un tirage au couleur simultané à partir d’un nouveau media et imprimé en édition limitée à six exemplaires.

He specializes in contemporary simultaneous and continuous color printing. The artist reworks the print after the marouflage transfer onto heavy art paper to achieve the artistic effect.
His work is mainly inspired by his walks in the countryside and the sensations or feelings he experiences while doing them, and which he tries to share with the spectators of his works.
Richard Raveen Chester was born in 1954 in India. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Delhi University School of Art in 1976. He currently lives and works in Angers (France).
