我是中国的艺术家陈秋池，我自1990年代初的中国“圆明园时期”便开始了自由职业艺术家的生涯，我的作品曾多次在中国长春、沈阳、北京、上海、香港，韩国首尔，英国伦敦，德国科隆、柏林等地展出，曾参加过“科隆国际艺术博览会”、“首尔国际艺术博览会”。
我曾经接受过严格的造型能力及油画技法训练，但作为当代艺术家，我有着自己的良知。我无法不关注现实，无法不关注人类社会发展进程中的变化和产生的问题。
我的作品是用人类的头部作为画面符号来组成图式。这些‘符号’有如病毒般堆积膨胀着，或是狂笑或是呐喊，以表达人类在发展中坚难抉择。既：人类是要和平、要保护好环境的发展，还是要战争，并以破坏环境为代价的发展。
人类无限膨胀的欲望，军备与科技的疯狂发展，以及人权的不平等、环境的污染、能源的危机等，像瘟疫一样缠绕着世界……
不可否认，我们所认识的科技，仅仅是认识和改造世界的方法之一，而绝非是唯一的方法，但科技的概念渗透在人们的脑海和生活的各个领域中，人们的思维不自觉地被现代科技和自我的欲望控制了……
如爱因斯坦所言：“我们从哪里来，人类到哪里去？”
我的画笔发出一声声的长叹，试图通过自己的作品呼唤人类的爱心，唤醒沉睡的良知，从而让人类和其它生物赖以生存的地球永葆和平与生机……
