By collecting various materials and materials of Chinese painting, he has learned and delved into the flowers, birds, line drawings and figures in Chinese painting by himself. The techniques of landscape and landscape are more influenced by Song paintings. Because I am fascinated by the outline of lines and the expressive techniques of ink and paint in Chinese paintings, I have repeatedly studied and copied the works of Li Gonglin, Li Cheng, Guo Xi and other masters.

The line drawing lines in Chinese paintings are particularly rich in expression. The images, demeanor, and clothes of the characters are all drawn with simple lines, which can make people feel their emotions, sorrows, joys, sitting, walking, and running. People admire. Among all the Chinese line drawing works, my favorite is Li Gonglin's "Vimalakirti Performance and Teaching Picture". In the painting, twenty figures with different identities, shapes, expressions and behaviors, plus a "green lion", the mount of Manjushri Bodhisattva, are arranged in a well-arranged pattern. The scrolls show one by one that the host and guest are facing each other, and their attendants are sitting, standing, dancing or jumping, lively but dignified; there are also various seats, utensils, and incense burners in the painting, which are exquisite and prosperous, which makes people never get tired of it. handed down works.

The theme of landscape in Chinese painting is more grand than that of character line drawing. Usually, it is necessary to consider the overall layout, highlight the theme, and also consider the background of the secondary scene. Streams flow and plank roads are interspersed, no matter how beautiful the scenery is, it needs to be embellished by human activities to be full of vitality. The works of masters such as Guo Xi, Li Cheng, and Jing Hao have achieved the ultimate in the standards and interpretations of Chinese landscape painting, so that later painters rarely surpassed them.

Adhering to the purpose of learning from the classics and the best, Song paintings have become my main creative theme. Every research (reading paintings) and copying has benefited me a lot. The use and speculation of techniques and expressive techniques have also allowed me to improve my own painting skills through continuous copying.

During the five or six years of continuous research, thinking and copying learning, the shortcomings of Chinese painting have gradually emerged-the neglect and lack of visual focus and light and shadow effects in Chinese painting, which made me start a new life for Western watercolor painting. learning and copying process. In 2020, I began to slowly get involved in watercolor painting. After trying various watercolor styles, Paul Dmoch's works became my preference. Since there are relatively few materials that can be collected in China, in order to broaden our horizons and seek broader prospects, my wife and I will start living in Thailand in 2022. Maybe I haven't found my own artistic language yet, but with continuous learning and exploration, the style in my mind will gradually emerge. Please look forward to it!
