Gaignart, a self-taught artist living and working in France, has built a reputation in the art world for his unique approach to ballpoint pen drawing. His preferred medium, simple yet powerful, is the ballpoint pen, which he wields with remarkable precision to create works of great complexity. His work is characterized by a deep exploration of geometric abstraction, a style that allows him to play with shapes and lines in ways that create dynamic and balanced compositions.

Each of Gaignart's pieces is a unique work, the result of a creative process where improvisation meets rigor. Although self-taught, his work demonstrates an impressive mastery of the medium and a subtle understanding of the principles of geometric art. His works captivate the viewer with their apparent simplicity, but upon closer examination reveal a complexity that prompts reflection.

Gaignart continues to develop and refine his style, exploring new ways of using the triangle and other geometric shapes to create works that, while rooted in a minimalist aesthetic, exude considerable visual and emotional force.
