After 11 years of artistic technique courses with Alexandrine Janot, I completed a master's degree in heritage conservation and restoration specializing in easel painting, then in 2019 I opened an art workshop Les Pinceaux de Charlène, which is a workshop for the conservation and restoration of painted works, copying and creating paintings.
Copying works allowed me to acquire a certain discipline as well as to be able to play with many techniques and materials.
Restoring works of art requires a lot of patience and attention to detail.
Two branches (copying/restoration) of my workshop that are totally complementary to the work of a painter. In which I am mainly inspired by nature: landscapes, fauna, flora and freedom that I represent in oil and watercolor painting and the rendering of details fascinates me!
