It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Je travaille de manière spontanée, intuitive et gestuelle, où l’inconscient prend plus de place que le conscient. Je ne cherche pas à représenter mon environnement, mais plutôt à susciter une émotion. Je choisis d’abord une palette de couleurs, puis j’étale la peinture sans vraiment réfléchir. Lorsque je suis satisfaite du résultat, je prends une pause ce qui me permet de réfléchir à l’étape suivante. J’ajoute des détails qui guident le regard à travers l’oeuvre et lui donnent un sens.

Chantal Proulx is a contemporary French-Canadian painter. After experimenting with several media such as sculpture, painting on silk, and watercolor, she finally adopted acrylic painting and mixed techniques. Her goal through her art is to make living environments more joyful and appealing to the eye, creating emotion in the spectator.
