Michel Champion was born in 1954 amidst the smell of turpentine. His father being a painter, he was of course very quickly destined.... for music (He is currently a double bassist in the Ajamid jazz quartet).



After technical studies in the fields of electronics and then IT, he was in turn professor, responsible for the industrialization of production at MATRA Péritel in Hong Kong, technical director of different companies, then founder and CEO of the publishing company Multimedia Neuro Concept.



In 1999, he radically changed his professional path, becoming passionate about
painting and quickly discovers the facilities that he thought were reserved for his
painter of father.



In 2001, he joined the Musée d'Orsay for the first time as a copyist painter
in Paris where he specialized in copying impressionist works.



In 2002, he founded the Association of Copists with J.M. Gillet and D. Dublet
French Museums.



In 2005, he opened a new workshop in the Côtes d'Armor near Paimpol
and develops his range of personal works.



Alongside his artistic activities, Michel Champion still exercises
a consultancy activity in new technologies.
