In Mongolia it is art that is a testimonial for a sustainable world with the work of artist Chadraabal Adiyabazar
We meet in the Asian capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolian artist Chadraabal Adivabazar, born in1979, he talks about his experience of making art in a place where contemporary art still needs to be understood.
His work entitled "TENGRI URKH” made in 2016 is bronze, large350x530x310cm, made for the commemoration of ACEM-11organized in the capital Ulaanbaatar, in 2016. This event with an international character was very beautiful because Leaders including Presidents and Prime Ministers from53 nations visited Mongolia and participated in the event. It is unique that the signatures of all these leaders were engraved on my sculpture.
This ACEM was the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting held on July15-16, 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, with the theme "20 Years of ASEM: Connecting and Partnering for the Future"; a special event for the nation because it was featured after 800 years since the IKH KHURALDAI of the Mongolian Empire.
But how did this work come about?
“This sculpture was created to witness the will of all peoples to act against global pollution. It bears witness to climate change, one of the most pressing problems in the world today. My aesthetic research aims to make people reflect on the seriousness of pollution by emphasizing that today’s humanity can act fast to achieve a major climate change that is useful to restore a balance with nature and revive the ‘Green Word’.” However, if we all work together to save the planet by focusing on sustainability we will succeed in advancing the sustainable development goals set forth in the 2030 Agenda.”
Where was this work placed?
The work is now located in Central Square Park, the most central spot in Ulaanbaatar.
I am currently dedicating most of my daily endeavors to addressing socio-economic issues such as those we are currently experiencing into my artistic research: the oil problem, the lack of marine resources, the depletion of freshwater, the disappearance of green places, and the threat of extinction by a huge number of starving people. Who is to blame for all this? Man, of course. For the last couple of years amidst the Covid pandemic, I am working to hold an exhibition with concepts of our (mankind) current livelihood to be in harmony with nature, as we call it our mother-earth, and in doing so to efficiently and ethically utilize the current technological advancement and the use of artificial intelligence.
This solo exhibition will be opened virtually at the end of June at Mongolia’s ‘MonArty’ Virtual Art Gallery.
Thanks
Chadraabal Adiyabazar and Posthumanism in his works
The works created by Mongolian artist Chadraabal Adiyabazar express all his love for life and nature. As we look at his creations we notice geometric figures depicted within enlarged human silhouettes. This iconography gives way to the new technological reality of AI - Artificial Intelligence, thus a new figure of human being - machine a npossible ciborg is created. The new technological reality enters contemporary art by opening new reflections. Chadrabaal interprets its creative power that this new language has in everyday life. He creates surreal and metaphysical scenarios, a new world that meets the experimental art of new digital technologies and the Metaverse. His paintings lead us to reflect on the foundations of Euclidean geometry in the Western world and how important it is to know the functionality of geometric elements in relation to the spacetime relationship. Our analysis devoted to the work of this important Mongolian artist brings out the beauty and originality of the relationship PAINTING-DIGITAL ART . His paintings or videos are characterized by a color choice based on warm and cold tones, geometric elements, meet and form a "new theorem dedicated to the human figure and multimedia technology. In some works or photographs we encounter scenes of life in the Mongolian tradition. In his photographic shots we admire the splendid views and grazing animals typical of that territory. Chadraabal is an artist who expresses with his language the love for nature in all his aesthetic research there is the soul of the globalized artist who has abandoned the Post-modern and its philosophy.
