I was born in Chicago but raised in Eastern North Carolina, about 45 minutes from the beach. I have two brothers and a sister. I am a music major at East Carolina University. Music and singing are my first loves but it seems that I am “accidentally gifted” when it comes to photography…or so I’m told. I stumbled upon this new obsession about two years ago when I bought a digital camera and it turned out to be my best investment yet. I have always admired artists who paint and draw and am able to see finished products with my mind’s eye. However, that extent of my artistic ability, in that capacity, is stick men! My brothers stole that gene from me! So photography is my way of painting. I am a writer as well so usually when I take a pic I see words with it. The strange thing is that ten years ago, way before I was interested in photography, I started a “thought book”. A journal of sorts with bible verses, quotes and song lyrics that I wanted to remember. It’s funny really. Only HE could’ve know that these two passions would cross paths and collide many years from their creation…HEY…sign my guest book…PLEASE =)
