Fiz meu primeiro quadro a óleo aos nove anos, quando cursava desenho e pintura, no bairro onde morava, Vila Isabel - no Rio de Janeiro. Nessa época, participei da minha primeira exposição, era uma coletiva dos alunos do curso de pintura.

Aos 14 anos, resolvi fazer um curso de Desenho Artístico e Publicitário, porém, pensar em estudar Arte e fazer Escola de Belas Artes não era para a cabeça dos pais da época e muito menos para a do meu!

Naquele tempo, a menina teria que fazer a Escola Normal - Instituto de Educação ou Carmela Dutra no Rio de Janeiro e faculdade só se escolhida entre: Direito, Medicina ou Engenharia. "Arte é coisa de quem não quer nada!", era o que eu ouvia.

Optei por arquitetura, que era o mais próximo da Arte que eu tanto queria.

Fui para a Faculdade e tive excelentes professores , entre eles Lídio Bandeira de Melo.

No segundo ano da faculdade, me casei com uma pessoa maravilhosa, que sempre me deu muita força para tudo o que eu queria, ou sonhava, além de ser alguém para quem a arte também tinha significado de vida ... Ou a vida de arte?

Mudança de planos e acabei fazendo concurso para uma Estatal e cursando faculdade de Ciências Atuariais (que seria importante para a minha carreira naquele momento).

A realidade sempre foi bem-vinda, já que também fazia parte de nossos sonhos, o sonho da família que estávamos construindo.

O meu sonho, da arte concreta, um trabalho a ser executado apenas por mim, era deixado para depois, porém, o que acontecia era tão grandioso e de realizações tão mais imediatas, que nunca me ressenti por adiá-lo.

Durante todo esse tempo, continuei pintando e desenhando.

Hoje, com meus filhos já lindos adultos, pessoas que me orgulho de serem parte minha, mas que já têm suas vidas, seus sonhos, suas carreiras, posso estar inteiramente voltada para a minha arte.

Instalada em meu ateliê, iniciei meus primeiros trabalhos como artista plástica profissional em outubro de 2005.
